Pumpkins and mums and Oktoberfest, oh my!

If you have not driven by yet, the Milton 66 is currently being attacked by massive spiders (of the fabric sort) and in the beer garden we are all pumpkins, mums, and fall delights. Whether you need a giant hot pretzel, a barrel aged stout, or a few gourds for decoration, we have got you covered this month.

In addition to a great line up of food trucks and music, on October 7, we will have a drop in Pumpkin and Succulent workshop. These lovelies should be a wonderful fall display to last you to Thanksgiving. If you want to make memories with the whole family, come by on October 14 for a drop in Tye Dye Workshop. That same day we will host the Dan River High School Class of 2003 as they celebrate their 20th Class Reunion!

Bring the other kids, your dogs, on October 21 for a Dog Halloween Costume Party. No dog? No problem. Later that same night we will be screening the "Little Shop of Horrors" presented by the
Milton Renaissance Foundation. This is all just gearing up for the month's main attraction of a Milton town-wide Autumn Fest on October 28. We will do our part on October 28 with candy, fun, and games all day and by hosting a Halloween Costume Party from 7 PM on (for adult humans).

While we may be all pumpkin spice over here, let’s not forget that the holidays are just around the corner! On November 25, from 11 AM to 5 PM, we will host our 2nd Annual Christmas Vendor Market. Know a small business or artisan that would be perfect for this market? Spread the word: we are reserving space for market vendors now. Find details on our website. The more the merrier!

Maybe the trees have not yet faded to shades of yellow, orange, and red, but we can take a cue from the calendar and say that fall is really here. Tighten your overalls, it is going to be a great month.
